A fresh daisy was gathered from my garden and pressed it into silicone putty to form a custom mould, capturing a single moment of nature in full bloom on a warm Scottish day. Red gold bronze clay was then pressed into the design to catch its basic form, before carefully shaping the details by hand and firing in my kiln. The intense heat permanently seals the organic textures of the living flower into solid metal, creating a wearable memory of the earth
